He gave me medicine called, “prilosec-otc” to try for a month. The symptoms still continue. At the moment i am no longer taking “prilosec” and the doctor told me to take “charcoal plus”. That does not help either. My symptoms continue, & it actually seems to be getting worse.
My symptoms are: Throat burning feeling, Stomach burning feeling, loud stomach & throat sounds, trouble breathing, uncontrollable hunger (i get hungry VERY fast now, & if i don’t eat right away, by stomach starts making loud embarrassing sounds), trouble swallowing, constant burping (& when i burp, i would always experience vomit or acid coming up to my throat) which causes my throat to experience burning. Please help me. My doctor says that its all in my head. Ugh, please help me, i can’t live like this.

5 Symptoms of Acid Reflux and Heart Disease
5 Symptoms of Acid Reflux and Heart Disease
Article by Donald Mckenzie Jr
Acid reflux and heart disease often times share the same levels of discomfort. In order to properly understand these diseases, you must first educate yourself on the symptoms. Here are the 5 main symptoms to look for.
1) A burning sensation in your throat due to stomach acid. This happens to be an extension of the heartburn pain caused by acid reflux. Any pain caused by stomach acid regurgitating into the esophagus and mouth is normally due to acid reflux. Surprisingly this has little to do with the heart.
2) A few major signs of definite acid reflux include coughing, wheezing, acid regurgitation, and high levels of bitterness in the mouth. The acid entering the esophagus is to blame for each of these symptoms. Pregnant women are more prone to heartburn during the last two trimesters when a growing fetus crowds most of the space which the stomach takes up. For these women, understanding their risk of heartburn is particularly high.
2) Chest pain that begins with regular exercise is likely due to a heart problem. Acid reflux symptoms do not change with physical activity. The heart experiences stress during physical exercise which can also develop problems within.
Indigestion Symptoms
Indigestion Symptoms
Indigestion symptoms can include heartburn, a fullness in the stomach during and before a meal is completed as well as discomforting belching and nausea. Some foods can trigger these symptoms and the knowledge that there are some which we consciously take and know can cause the indigestion generally does not stop anyone from continuing on to eat. Dyspepsia symptoms occur due to various reasons like eating excessively oily and spicy food, smoking, consuming alcohol and stress. Consumption of citrus foods, chocolates, caffeinated and carbonated drinks and drinking milk on an empty stomach cause acid indigestion. A sedentary lifestyle with little or no physical activities is also a causative factor.
Indigestion happens if acid from the stomach attacks the lining of the digestive structure causing some irritation leading to stomach pain or aches in the chest area. It’s likely you could have some nausea, heartburn (acid reflux) and belching. ‘Heartburn’ is the most common type of indigestion experienced by people. The burning feeling associated with heartburn occurs when acid from the stomach flows back up your oesophagus and thereby irritating the lining along the way. Usually, a specific muscular valve prevents the acidic contents in the stomach from returning back up your oesophagus. However, in instances where the valve does not close properly, this will often trigger the symptoms of heartburn.
Apart from the usual burning sensation that accompanies indigestion, and the sometimes obvious ‘bells & whistles’ (farts and burps), there are many other symptoms that you should watch out for. Some are your ordinary run-of-the-mill type symptoms, which are fairly common, but then there are the more serious signs and symptoms that could indicate that there is something more serious that you should be paying attention too, even if you do not really want to. When you were younger it seemed as though you could party all night and eat what you wanted without any stomach pains or other noticeable effects unless it was a king-sized hangover from too much alcohol. But times change as you get older and your body becomes less resilient to constant misuse.
