Control Line……………………?

Question by <3TTC BEAUTIFUL BABY #1<3: Control Line……………………?
I feel so stupid! On the pregnancy test box it says the control line will appear within 1-3 minutes, then the test is complete. Does that mean that once that line is up then it’s over? I always get the control line almost instantly.
Also, these are my “symptoms”: a week late for AF, mild headaches, awful heartburn (never had it before and no change in diet), peeing a lot nausea, backaches and super tired and moody. What do you think? I am retesting in the morning. I got a negative Thursday night but it obviously wasn’t first morning urine.
and itchy boobs, a little sensitive but not bad.

I also get the control line right away but if you don’t get a positive within 3 mins it means the test in done but you may have taken the test to early so I would try again, if you are pregnant you shouldn’t have to use first morning but it doesn’t hurt. Good luck!!

Comparing Quotes to Get Cheap Insurance Quotes

Comparing Quotes to Get Cheap Insurance Quotes
We all know that insurance quotes are not made equal and are dependent on several factors including the driver’s past records, credit scores, the city that they live, etc. But is it possible for your insurance premium to differ, even with all other factors remaining constant? Yes, this is indeed possible, thanks to websites that aim to provide cheap insurance quotes.

These websites help people to choose from the different insurance quotes. This is done by entering the zip code and choosing from the list of available options. You can even request for the local agent to contact you with a competitive price.

Insurance companies follow specific formulas when determining the monthly premium. These formulas serve as a ready reckoner for the company to identify between different categories of insurers and then come up with a quote. Some of these follow a tier system. While some tiers are complex, some are simple and can be differentiated as preferred, standard, and substandard. Depending on the different factors like DMV points, accidents, etc., the insurance quote would differ.

But not all companies give importance to the same metrics. While some give weight to the place of the insurer, there are others who place more importance on the type of car owned by the insurer. Insurance quotes also differ depending on the advertising, marketing and other costs incurred by the company to promote itself. While some spend a lot of money on these aspects, there are others who’d rather prefer to pass on the benefits to the end user. Thus, a comparison between the different companies allows people to choose between the different cheap car insurance providers. This helps to save more than 50 per cent or more on your insurance.

Q&A: Does anyone feel as crappy as I do tonight?

Question by [mamamia126]?: Does anyone feel as crappy as I do tonight?
My day could have been worse, but I still feel extremely down. My mom and I had a terrible fight, my uncle was talking bad about my siblings and me and talking about how “bad” and “lazy we are” and my mom was agreeing, and to top it all off, I’m 15 and suffering from heartburn. I can’t even lie down….too painful.

And neither of my two best friends could talk. One was at a party and the other was “half-way asleep”.

How was your day?

Acid Reflux Symptoms and Treatment

Acid Reflux Symptoms and Treatment

Article by Patsy Hamilton

There are various acid reflux symptoms and treatment plans. Some people have found that a home remedy for acid reflux is effective. However, it is important to have your symptoms evaluated by a doctor, especially if chest pain is present, to rule out more serious conditions.

Heartburn, a sour or bitter taste in the mouth or back of the throat and difficulty swallowing are the most common acid reflux symptoms and treatment may include prescription and over the counter medications, dietary and lifestyle changes or botanical and herbal remedies. As you can see, acid reflux is more than just occasional heartburn, which almost everyone experiences at one time or another. As opposed to treating occasional heartburn, a home remedy for acid reflux will almost certainly include changes in diet. A food and symptoms diary is often helpful for identifying foods, beverages and other things (like cigarette smoking) that may trigger symptoms.

Persistent cough, hoarseness and upset stomach are examples of other problems that may be acid reflux symptoms and treatment, once the diagnosis is made, often begins with a group of prescription drugs called proton pump inhibitors. The coughing and hoarseness are caused by stomach acid leaking up into the esophagus, which is the tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach. Unlike a typical home remedy for acid reflux, these are taken daily and actually prevent secretion of stomach acid. Like all prescription drugs, proton pump inhibitors may cause unwanted side effects, which may include headache, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, fatigue and dizziness.

There are those who choose not to use prescription drugs for the relief of acid reflux symptoms and treatment options for them may include botanical or herbal remedies. Some may consider this a home remedy for acid reflux since no prescription is necessary, but botanicals or plants and herbs were the first form of medicine. Prescription drugs are a fairly recent addition to healthcare. When used in combination with changes in eating habits, such as reducing the number of fried, fatty and fast foods, an herbal or botanical remedy may be just as effective as a prescription drug for the relief of acid reflux symptoms and treatment of the condition.

He’s been distant off & on for too long. What’s goin on?

Question by Molly B: He’s been distant off & on for too long. What’s goin on?
We’ve been married 16 years. Over the last 2 he has days/weeks when he’s withdrawn. He won’t carry on a conversation. He just gives one word or less responses. He’ll stare at the tv like he didn’t hear what I said. Eventually, he might grab the ps3 controller & begin playing a game…so I leave the room…confused & frustrated. If he wants to be left alone, why doesn’t he just say so. I’d understand but, let’s say that I go to work a few minutes later. When I call during my breaktime he’ll be hanging out with a buddy or running around town, going from store to store, just looking at sporting goods. When I ask him what’s wrong he says: “Nothing. Just wanna be alone.” I don’t get it. If he wants to be alone, why is he with his friend but he couldn’t even chat with me about the news or the weather???
Along with this lack of communication, he has become increasingly disinterested in sex or even cuddling. If I reach over while we’re in bed he gets tense & defensive. What’s that all about? When I ask he says these things: “It’s not you, it’s me.” or “Just take care of yourself.” or “I have heartburn…”
Could one of you men please tell me what is going on here? I’d really like to know so that I know what the appropriate response is. What is it that I can do to help or whatever. I’m confused & frustrated.
This has gone on for so long that I am going to a Doctor this week to get anti-anxiety meds. I’m so anxious about what is going on with him that I am starting to feel physical effects from stress…then what good am I to him?
Yes we both work shift work schedules.
When I ask him a question, I ask once, give him a chance to answer, then drop it. I am very conscience not to be pushy or b*tchy. I know better.

What should i do now?…?

Question by Renee: What should i do now?…?
I haven’t missed a period in 3 years nor have i been late. This month there have been no signs of my period AT ALL. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both came out negative, BUT I have heard that in some cases, the Pregnancy test didn’t work for them until they were in month 2 of being pregnant. What if it is too early to tell on a pregnancy test for me?
Two weeks BEFORE my missed period, I was having these “Symptoms”: very mild cramping, constipation, dark and heavy discharge, heartburn, moodyness, headaches, and last but not least… I didn’t want sex.. AT ALL. I went to webmd.com and all signs pointed to being pregnant so i took a test and it came out negative, so i brushed it off. Now I am 3 days off from being 2 weeks late on my period and still, no sign of a period. On top of that i have been overly hungry and thirsty lately and i have had a ton of heartburn. Should i just wait it out? Should i try another test?! what am i suposed to do now?!?!?!
Thanks for your Help,
Renee
I haven’t at all been worried about this. I have more so been excited. Starting a family with the man I love would be awsome!!! I just don’t want to get my hopes up (yet again). I have this gut feeling that i am pregnant. I don’t know how to explain it, I just feel as if i am pregnant. I am sure of it but the tests keep saying otherwise. *sigh*
